Making Dreams Come True
Dreaming, imagining, wishing, whatever you want to call it. The ability to sit down and take a time out to imagine something new has lead to many great inventions and improvements. The ability to want is not necessarily always a bad thing. It is how we turn those desires into reality which determines good or bad actions.
Taking the time out to dream about what, where and who you want to be is a very important part in the process of growth and goal setting. Goals are the mileposts we set to get to our ultimate destinations.
Many people have the goal to have more time with their family. Unfortunately they are tied down to spend numerous hours in slavery working hard at their 'job'. When they get home they are either so worn out or stressed that they have little time to spend with their family. So in order to make the dream of spending more time with their family they first need to achieve the financial freedom that will free them from the slavery of their work. Once that dream is achieve it may allow the opportunity to have further dreams - dreams to travel, have time-out on a Island paradise, explore the historical sites of the world in person, build a boat, whatever your desire may be.
When most people dream of being rich, in reality their dream is the dream of being financial free. Most people aren't greedy, they just desire the power of choice that comes with not only financial security but financial excess. It is not surprising that many of the very rich end up being generous with their money - Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and others have had enough money to buy whatever they wanted. Eventually once people get to this stage of wealth they learn what they really want to do is to change the world for the better. Many people with free time and freed from the demand to always work learn that they really enjoy helping others and having the power and resources to do so they can adopt their favorite charity or cause.
Dreams are good, how else can we be inspires to change ourselves, our families, the world!
